Sewing Club 101

Service Description

Class fee: $135 for aprox. 4 hour of class time. 1 class per week. Each class is aprox 1 hour long. Class Description: Sewing Club 101 is where the sewing fun really begins! This class is designed to continue practicing the fundamentals of machine sewing, and build on new skills. You will learn basic sewing techniques and how to cut and sew from basic patterns. This is a MONTLY one-day a week class, that is aprox 1 hour long. Students will complete a small sewing project to take home at the end of each class. I rotate projects frequently. Class Requirement: The Beginner Sewing class is required if you are new to sewing. Ages: 4th grade and up! I teach kids, teens, and adults. Parents are welcome to sign up for sewing classes with their kid(s) for a fun family experience! Adults not taking classes with their children will be added to an adults only class. *Adults are considered 18 years+ at the Sewing Club Studio. Materiels: Please bring your own sewing machine, 4 bobbins, and various colors of thread (black, white, beige, red). Each student must have their own sewing machine (no sharing). All other materials needed for class will be be provided for in-class use. A detailed supply list will be e-mailed upon class booking, along with student waiver. Class location: Please note all classes are in my home. I have kids, a house bunny rabbit, a small friendly dog, and a pool in the backyard. Drop-off permitted, as long as the child is picked up at the class end time promptly. 1 parent/guardian is allowed to hang out during the class (at the kitchen counter or on the front patio) if desired.
